SCROLL
WHO WE ARE

From the valley to the table.

Located in Celorico de Basto, within the demarcated Vinho Verde region, Vale’ Ribas is surrounded by the natural beauty of northern Portugal. Our vineyard extends across 2 hectares of land, where a diverse selection of grape varieties thrives in a unique landscape shaped by the valley and its natural surroundings.

Situated between 250 and 350 metres above sea level, the vineyard lies in a sheltered valley, giving rise to the name Vale’ Ribas. A nearby stream and the valley’s natural orientation create a favourable microclimate, providing the ideal conditions for cultivating healthy grapes with distinctive character.

From the vineyard to the finished bottle, every stage of production is carried out by our team. By keeping the entire process in our own hands, we maintain close control over quality and consistency, allowing us to produce wines that reflect their origin.

FROM LAND TO TABLE

The Land

Rooted in the valley of Celorico de Basto, our vineyard benefits from a sheltered valley, natural water sources and a favourable microclimate — conditions that shape the character of our wines.

The Cellar

From grape to bottle, every stage of our production is carefully managed by our family. By keeping the process in our own hands, we maintain close control over quality, from the first stages of winemaking to the finished wine.

The Table

Wines made to be shared. Vale Ribas wines are created to accompany good food and good company, pairing naturally with traditional regional cuisine, roasted and grilled meats, and the flavours of northern Portugal.
